Describe the style — lyrics optional
Name the mood, palette, and pacing: "midnight blue, warm gold serif, gentle word-by-word reveals." If your track has no vocals — or you have no track — paste the lyrics and they render exactly as written. With vocals, your lyric sheet is the checklist, not required input.

Transcription can occasionally mishear a word, so read the finished video against your lyric sheet — fixes are a one-sentence revision. Then export 1080p MP4: 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Shorts and TikTok, 1:1 for the feed.

Yes. Upload your track and iArt listens before animating: songs and voiceovers with words are transcribed so the lyrics sync to the singing; instrumentals are routed to beat analysis — in our August 2026 tests it identified a self-made 100 BPM track at exactly 100 BPM and timed word entrances to the detected hits. A built-in instrumental library is there if you don't have a track.
Does it sync the words to the vocals?
Yes — that's the point of the audio upload. The track is transcribed with timestamps, and each word's on-screen entrance follows the moment it's sung or spoken. We verified it twice: a voiceover test where every line appeared at the exact second it occurs in the file, and an audio-only test where we typed no lyrics at all — the video rendered the transcribed words, synced to the singing. Transcription can occasionally mishear a word, which is why we recommend a word-by-word check; fixes are a one-sentence revision.
Do I have to type out the lyrics?
Not if your track has vocals — the words come from the transcription. In our August 2026 test we uploaded a song with a style-only brief, no lyrics provided, and the finished video rendered the sung words in sync. Typed lyrics are for instrumentals, no-track briefs, and as your verification sheet: the on-screen text follows the audio transcription, so check the result word by word before publishing.
Will my lyrics render accurately?
Lyrics from your brief render as real vector type, exactly as written — no garbled AI text. If you also upload vocals, the timing follows the audio transcription; check the finished video word by word against your lyric sheet before publishing, and fix any issue by describing it in a follow-up prompt.
How much does a lyric video cost on iArt?
Every new account gets a $5 signup credit, and in our August 2026 test runs complete 20-second lyric videos cost $0.19 and $0.49 in credits — generation, one revision, and the 1080p render. Sharing via link works on any plan; downloading the MP4 and commercial rights come with Pro at $20/month.
What sizes can I export?
16:9 (1920×1080) for YouTube, 9:16 (1080×1920) for Shorts, Reels, and TikTok, and 1:1 for square feeds. Set the aspect ratio before generating — the showcase on this page includes all three.
Do I need the rights to the song?
Yes — a lyric video uses both the recording and the lyrics, which are copyrighted separately. Your own music, commissioned work, or licensed tracks are fine; for someone else's released song you need permission from the rights holders. iArt's built-in instrumental library is cleared for use in your videos.
