Adding AI Voice-Over to Your Video
Learn how to add professional narration to your videos using AI text-to-speech.
What is AI Voice-Over?
iArt includes built-in text-to-speech (TTS) that generates natural-sounding narration from your script. You can add voice-over to any clip to guide viewers through your content.

Step 3: Write Your Script
Enter the narration text for your clip. Write it as you'd want it spoken — complete sentences with natural pacing.
Tips for writing scripts:
- Keep sentences short and clear
- Use punctuation to control pacing (commas for pauses, periods for stops)
- Read it aloud to check if it sounds natural

Step 4: Generate the Voice-Over

Step 5: Preview with Animation
Play your clip to see the voice-over synced with your animation. The animation timing can be adjusted to match the narration pace.
Syncing Voice-Over with Animation
iArt can synchronize your animation timing with the voice-over duration. This ensures that visual elements appear and transition in time with the narration.
Tips
- Match script length to video duration — A 10-second clip needs roughly 25–30 words of narration
- Preview before exporting — Always listen to the full clip with voice-over before exporting
- Keep it concise — Voice-over works best when it complements the visuals, not overwhelms them
Next Steps
- Using Background Music — Add music alongside your voice-over
- Managing Audio Settings — Control volume levels
